Child Photo Privacy
This page explains how StoryMe handles the child’s first name, age and photo for personalization. It does not replace the main Privacy Policy.
1. What StoryMe asks for
To prepare the personalized story, StoryMe asks for the child’s first name, age and a clear photo.
2. Why the photo is collected
The photo is collected as a private reference needed to prepare the personalized order. It is not a public profile image and is not collected to build a persistent child profile.
3. Caregiver consent for children under 13
By submitting child information, the buyer confirms that they have the necessary parent/caregiver authority or permission to provide it.
4. Private storage and access
StoryMe stores the child photo privately and does not publish it at a permanent public URL. Access is limited to people authorized to work on or support the order.
5. Where the photo must never appear
The child photo is not used as public Product media and is not sent to analytics, Stripe metadata, advertising/audience platforms, public product feeds or public marketing records.
6. Fulfillment boundary
Only data genuinely necessary to prepare and fulfill the ordered edition may be provided to an approved production/fulfillment provider. Advertising and analytics providers are not authorized to receive child media.
7. Deletion
When StoryMe carries out a child-photo deletion request, the private photo itself is deleted while non-sensitive order history may be retained where needed. StoryMe does not promise a fixed automatic deletion timetable.
8. Withdrawal and requests
Privacy or deletion requests can be sent to Support@storyme.ae. StoryMe handles them through its normal support process.
9. No marketing reuse without separate permission
Submitting a child photo for an order does not grant permission for StoryMe to publish it as a testimonial, portfolio image, social post, advertisement or catalog example. Such use requires a separate explicit and legally sufficient permission process.
10. Changes
This page should be updated if StoryMe changes how it handles child data, retention or the service providers that receive it.
